Antibody-Drug Conjugates combine the specificity of the antibody recognizing the antigen target with the potent tumor-killing effects of a cytotoxic, attached typically via a linker. 6 ADCs have already been approved; sales are expected to be about $2b in 2018, growing to $12b by 2024 (GlobalData). Currently, aboutย 100 ADCs are in clinical development.
