ShareVault Reader enables you to view a PDF document or SVPDF document securely.

The ShareVault administrator can specify the permissions and security policy for a document. The security policy controls whether a user is allowed to save or print a document, copy and paste text from a document, and take screenshots while the document is open. It also controls whether a watermark is placed on each page of the document.
The security policy is dynamic. For example, if you download a document and you can print it, but then later you open the same document and it won’t print, it is likely that in the interim the administrator has changed the security policy to prevent you from printing. The administrator can also change the document’s permissions so that you are no longer allowed to even open the document.
You can check the security policy for a document by right-clicking on the file in the Documents page and selecting the “Overview” menu item. The properties pane will display the overview tab at the bottom of the page. In the overview pane, there will be a set of icons indicating the functions that have been disabled for the document’s security policy:
