In ShareVault Reader, you can print an entire document or select pages to print from a document if you have permission to do so.

• Open the document to print.
• Choose File > Print or click the “Print document” button () on the toolbar. A dialog box displays print options.
• Choose print options:
  • The printer on which you wish to print
  • The number of copies to be printed
  • The page or pages you wish to print
• Click Print.

The ShareVault policy, which is selected by the administrator, controls whether printing is allowed. If the ShareVault security policy does not allow printing for a document, this function will be disabled.

Note: ShareVault Reader will not print a document to a PDF. If you have Adobe Acrobat or another application that allows you to print a file to PDF, that printer will not appear in the list of printers. The same limitation exists for printing to TIFF or XPS file formats. This is a security feature to prevent an unauthorized user from saving a document by printing to a file.
